Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at 3.30 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (Subject to weather condition). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, BatasiaLoop and back to hotel .After breakfast go for a 7 point seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmajanaidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Ava Art gallery& outer view of a Tea Estate, Back to hotel. Afternoon free time for leisure or personal Tour. Overnight Stay in Hotel at Darjeeling
Day 3
In Gangtok
Meal Plan: Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner
After breakfast, proceed for Permit formalities to visit Tsomgo Lake(12,400 ft.) & New Baba Mandir (Subject to Permit Availability) or else visit Namchi & Temi Tea Garden. Return back to Gangtok by afternoon. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay in Hotel at Gangtok.

The Mother House of the Missionaries of Charity - It is here that Mother Teresa lived, prayed, worked, and guided her religious family of sisters spread across the world. It is here that her body was laid to rest. Bypass BBD Bagh, writers Building, GPO, Raj Bhavan, Akashbani Bhawan, Highcourtand,St. Paul Cathedral and visit Indian Museum,(Depending upon time).Indian Museum One of the oldest museums in Asia, There is a 4,000-year-old mummy here as well. Marble Palace Situated in Chorbagan, in an artistically laid-out garden, the place is full of rare collection of antiques of immense artistic and historical value. Free time for Shopping.
